Match Race Saturday August 29th

The Saratoga Harness Horsepersons Association, Inc. will host a Match Race on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Saratoga Casino Hotel.  Katie Davis McCarthy, and RUS rider Randi Stark will compete in a trotting race under saddle.  

Katie Davis-McCarthy will compete for the BCCA Faith’s House. Faith’s House provides a safe, supportive, and academically inspiring environment for the children of parents working on the backstretch at Saratoga Race Course. www.belmontchildrencare.org

Randi Stark will compete for our horsemen affected by the barn fire. The Saratoga County Foundation, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for everyone in Saratoga County. www.saratoga.org/saratoga-county-foundation

The Saratoga Harness Horsepersons’ Association is seeking sponsorships for the Match Race purse. All purse money raised will be donated to the charities. 55% of the purse will be dispersed to the winning charity and 45% will be dispersed to second place. Sponsors may receive recognition on the SHHA website www.shharacing.com. You may also choose to be anonymous.
