What benefits do I receive by being a member of the Saratoga Harness Horsepersons Association?
Race bike insurance is included with your membership. The Driver, Trainer and Owner(s) must be members to receive coverage. The policy maximum is $4500.00. (Excludes amateur races)
Under the contract with Saratoga Gaming and Raceway there is fire insurance which covers the loss of horses with a maximum of $50,000.00 per horse.
Driver, trainers, second trainers, grooms and their dependents are eligible to enroll in the health insurance program provided they are members of the Association and their principal business is racing at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway.
